Dru Yoga isn’t the most known of yoga styles, even though it is slowly increasing its name and popularity.
I chose Dru Yoga over other styles for its combination of movements, breath and visualisation. I find it to be all encompassing, bypassing the monkey mind in several ways. Every time I do Dru Yoga it brings me a sense of peace that I didn’t find in other styles.
On a more technical aspect, Dru Yoga is a graceful style of yoga that uses flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. It works on the body, mind and spirit – improving strength and flexibility, building a feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.
Another aspect of Dru I particularly like is its accessibility to all people, regardless of fitness and age. It has been proven to have a positive impact on energy level as well as stress and pain reduction.
